Kortagroup es la respuesta al objetivo de internacionalización, cercanía al cliente y búsqueda de nuevos mercados que Korta se ha marcado.

La matriz es Korta S.A, empresa familiar fundada hace 40 años por los hermanos Korta y dirigida por Joxe Mari Korta hasta el año 2.000. Desde el inicio la empresa se especializó en la fabricación de Husillos a Bolas de alta precisión, y durante todos estos años ha equipado a los principales fabricantes de máquina herramienta del mundo. Actualmente la marca Korta también ocupa un lugar importante en otros sectores, tales como el de automoción, el energético o el aeronáutico.

En el año 2007, y basándose en los pilares estratégicos de cercanía al cliente e internacionalización, Korta crea nuevas empresas, naciendo así Kortagroup.
